I am Pallabi Guha, a PhD Scholar at the Centre for the Study of Regional Development, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. My research interests are focused on Peri-Urbanisation, UrbanTransformation, Livelihood and Land use changes.

My stay in Cologne for four months was a very enriching experience for me. I had the opportunity to participate in a field school and academic workshop at the Institute of Geography and Global South Studies Centre. Learning about urban change in Germany and the Ruhr industrial area, the process of urban change and the role of governance has been very insightful and extremely beneficial for my research. The time spent in Cologne was a worthwhile experience for my future career.
