My name is Hong Haolin. I’ m a master student from Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou, China.

Studying in the School of Geography and Planning, I major in Human Geography.

I’m very happy to be an academic visitor to the Institute of Geography at the University of Cologne. The short term life in Germany really gives me an impressive experience.

My main research areas are geography of transportation and land-use. I’m interested in the knowledge of rail transit, urban space and Geographic Information System. Also I hope to know more about the German academic progress in Human Geography.
