Research Project:
Impact of Ecosystem Services on Livelihoods in the National Capital Region

I am Nisha, a PhD student at Centre for Study of Regional Development, School of Social Sciences in Jawaharlal Nehru University, India.

Spending six weeks in Cologne was a wonderful opportunity for me to interact and exchange ideas with research scholars, faculties, experts from different countries at international level.

Attending workshops and lectures at the GSSC was helpful for my work. I’m glad that within this short duration I could also know about the historical, cultural, social and geographical background of Cologne.

Understanding, learning and adapting new things was the best experience.

Thanks to the DAAD-Network, the University of Cologne and JNU for giving me this opportunity to advance my research work and academic career.
